Schroeder Poetry

There once was a family of nine

The oldest was simply divine.

Next came Bill named after his father

He was a joy and never a bother.

Two years later along came Jack

Who became a lawyer sharp as a tack.

Then came Ed a jolly good fellow

He is certainly mild an also mellow.

Along came Mary a beautiful baby

Who turned out to be a traveling lady.

Next came the caboose(Karl) or so they thought

Until 5 years later a little girl was wrought.

Four years later came a pleasant surprise

A boy named Tom with big brown eyes.

Last but not least came Joan

Who was treated like a princess on a throne.
